Summer Sans Travels

It's been over a month since school's been out, and we haven't left town. It's been nice. We built a pond and took swim lessons, among other things that staying home allows. 

We got two fish for the tiny pond. The salesman said that goldfish have the best chance against neighborhood predators. They are fast, really fast. We got two. Big C named his Jimmy, and Lil' C's is Ladyfish. So far, the fish are growing and loving life. I'm reminded of the book about the boy who feeds his fish too much and ends up keeping it in a swimming pool. Not sure what to do with Jimmy and Ladyfish if they make it to winter. 

Now our travels begin, and then school starts. Time does fly. . .
